Heather's eyes went wide, she tried to get out of his embrace but he didn't let her.

"I just want it off my chest. I didn't want to hurt you."

He shook his head but remained silent, she knew he wanted her to continue.

"At the same time, that is the only time I truly hated myself. I could have done better. I should have done better. But I didn't and other than regret, I hated it. It was not only you that I hated but myself as well."

She continued caressing his hair, "When I realized I had a chance to change that event. I promise myself that I will do it. I don't want to hate myself or to hate you.
