"I guess it's the last time we are seeing them," stooping to sit, Mona said to her husband who was just by her side.

"Why do you think so?" He glanced her way to see how sure she was.

"You don't plan on bringing us back, do you?" Her eyes were questioning and he smiled.

"I don't, do you want to come back to Malta?"

"If...if we have a good life in Stonees, I won't want to come back. Just hoping that your parents will be nice to us," her eyes were peering at him cutely.

"They will, I was born into to good family, I chose them so I know how nice they are."

"So you can choose the family you want to be reborn with?"

"I'm not just a person, baby," he said in a singsong tone. "What's wrong?" He asked after noticing her silence and her expression. He then tucked her hair softly behind her ear.
