"I'm—" She tried to speak up, but the devil didn't let her speak.

The other wives silently watched as she struggled in the air. And none of them made a move to help her. It was as if they were watching a film they don't want an end to.

Dusa looked so pleased as she watched her fight for her life.

Bel kicked in the air as she struggled to get the devil to let go of his hold on her neck. It was futile, and she knew it, yet she continued to kick the air.

"You will kill her!" Watching as she struggled to free herself, without doing anything to help her, made me feel like the bad guy here.

I rushed to the Devil's side and touched his arm. "You are going to kill her. Please stop."

I pleaded with the devil. My eyes were misty, as I tried to get him to hear the voice of reasoning.

The devil only spared me a glance before he turned to Bel who was still relentlessly kicking the air as if she were trying to fight him off.
