Chapter 5: Part 5

"What?" Sly furrowed his brows at her.

"My waist," Kira groaned as she placed her hand on her waist. 

"What's wrong?" Sly knelt in front of her. 

"He pushed me," She moaned. 

"I think she broke a bone. We better go to the hospital and check on her." I folded my hands as I smirked. 

"That's true. Can you stand?" Sly asked as he tried to help her up.

"No," Kira sobbed. "I think I broke my bones. Please carry me up." 

"You—"

"Yes, Sly. I think you need to carry her up. She might have broken a bone, from her fall," I pursed my lips. 

"Baby boy—"

"Just carry her up, and let's be on our way." I took the keys from the table.

Sly carried her up when he saw that I meant my words. 

Kira on the other hand was beaming as my husband carried her out of the company. 

She must be feeling on top of the world. And it made me ache to wipe that smile from her face. 

"Stand."
