Chapter 284: Screaming and hurting - II

Harsh splash woke her up and Joyce sprang up from the position that she was only to curl back into a fetal position when a sharp pain quickly shot up in the middle of a body.

It had not completely gone away. It was still there.

Her eyes tried to adjust themselves to the light that was not blinding the room. Hands grabbed her upper arm and dragged her to sit against a wall.

A body was in an awkward position and that fed into her pain even more. Slowly on shaking limbs, she sat up straighter. Joyce decided to lean on his side against the wall while bringing her knees closer to her chest in an attempt to soothe the pain she was going through.

It was not Leon that stood in front of her, and that was the first thing she noticed. He was a completely different person.

Shit.

Aoife was nowhere in front of her and that scared of choice, even more because she had already faced her sister. The one who was coming, she never knew of him before.
