Adrian is already dressed for the day by the time his wife came out of the shower. The flush was still on her cheeks. She was tired from the exercises, but it was the only way to get her able to defend herself against everyone. Before that, he had to make sure that she had enough strength to go through that.

She shot him a smile before disappearing into the wardrobe. Adrian followed right after her, picking out his watch for today.

Joyce was modest.

Even though, with the level of intimacy that they had now crossed, any wife would be comfortable, drop in the towel in front of her husband and change while standing naked. But his choice was not like that. She made sure to wear her undergarments underneath the towel before dropping it carefully or rather, draping it over the counter.
