Chapter 3: Your Goal is Right
"Mr. Edward, after arriving in England later, you will be picked up by this person. His name is Aroon and he will take care of all your needs while studying in England."
Philip handed Edward a photo. Philip is the person who is the representative of Edward's school who is currently driving Edward's car.
"Okay Mr Philip, I understand."
Edward said as he accepted the photo Philip had given him. Edward looked at the photo and he smiled. Now he had memorized that face, the face he had longed for. Yes, Aroon is his childhood friend whom he has not seen for ten years because he followed his parents who had to move countries due to the demands of their work as ambassadors to the UK.
"We have arrived at the airport, Mr. Edward. I will help you unload your luggage and I will escort you to the departure lounge. After that I will leave you and my work is done."
Philip said as he parked his car at the airport entrance. After Edward and his belongings got off, Philip immediately parked his car in the parking lot and he immediately helped Edward carry his luggage into the airport and deliver Edward's belongings to a metal detector to check the safety of his luggage. Philip also checked Edward's plane ticket because it was his responsibility so Edward only had to leave.
"Thank you very much, Mr. Philip. You just need to get me here."
Edward shook Philip's hand and they quickly parted. Edward then sat in the waiting room and moments later he immediately got ready to board the plane that would take him to the country of his dreams.
Edward had already entered the plane and a few moments later the plane was flying. He then sat down and listened to the flight attendant's instructions. But Edward who had been a little sleepy became very surprised when he heard the destination from the plane he was flying in. Edward was supposed to fly to England but now he heard that their destination was America.
Edward immediately called one of the flight attendants and asked if he heard wrong or not.
"Excuse me miss, you said we were aiming for America? Are you not mistaken? Aren't we for England?"
Edward asked hopefully, while the flight attendant looked at Edward with a slightly confused look.
The flight attendant looked at Edward with a confused look, so Edward did the same. A few moments later the flight attendant smiled.
"Excuse me sir, may I see your plane ticket?"
The flight attendant asked and Edward immediately opened his waist bag and immediately took out the plane ticket that Philip had given him after he checked with the airline at the airport before he boarded this plane.
"This is my plane ticket, did I get on the wrong plane?"
Edward gave her his plane ticket anxiously, but how could he have entered the wrong plane? he even did a few checks before boarding the plane.
"Mr. Edward, your ticket is correct, your destination is America. So you'd better sit back and enjoy your trip with our airline services."
The flight attendant gave back the plane ticket to Edward who at this time looked very confused, he seemed to have just realized that he had been deceived. Luckily he had enough money with him and would soon be heading to England.
"Thank you very much, Miss. I'm sorry that I bothered you with my question."
Edward smiled at the flight attendant who was very friendly to him. Now he will rest and prepare because tomorrow after he arrives at the airport in America, he will again buy tickets to England. He didn't want to be late for college because he could be disqualified if he was late.
Edward then immediately closed his eyes after the flight attendant left him, he, of course, would take a longer trip than originally scheduled, he would tell his parents when he arrived in England, Edward was forced to lie to his parents so they wouldn't worry about delay in contacting them later.
Meanwhile, in Wagola, Emily feels very worried because her son cannot be reached and also informs her that he has arrived or not. Whereas judging from the schedule that Edward had told her earlier, he should have arrived half an hour ago.
"Felix, why hasn't Edward called us yet? Even though he should have arrived at the airport in England, was he so busy that he didn't have time to call us?" Emily asked her husband who immediately smiled seeing his wife so worried about Edward's condition.
"Honey, let's give Edward time to take care of his things first, he'll let us know when he arrives at his dorm. We have to make sure that Edward will be fine, maybe he's still busy right now and hasn't had a chance to call. Who knows if the phone runs out of power or what, we'll just have to wait until tonight, if there's still no news, we'll ask the school."
Felix then hugged Emily lovingly, he immediately invited Emily to rest in their room because since Edward left earlier, Emily looked very worried about her eldest son.
"Okay Felix, I'll wait until tonight, but I have a feeling that something happened to Edward."
Emily was very worried and she ended up falling asleep in her husband's arms. Felix himself was a bit worried actually, but he wouldn't think negatively of his own son.
Meanwhile, now that Edward had arrived in America, he immediately rushed to buy a plane ticket to England and after everything was settled, he was currently trying to contact his parents. Edward didn't want to make his parents worried, especially his mother who loved him so much all this time.
Edward then took his cell phone and immediately called his parents. He immediately pressed the button for his mother's contact number, Edward waited a while and now the phone line was able to connect.
