Chapter 90: The Purpose Behind a Goal

"FATHER!!!" cried Marion, who woke up and immediately felt a sensation of deja vu. He looked around wildly, scanned the entire room and found Jeremiah rushing into his room.

"Marion, honey! What happened?" Jeremiah grabbed Marion's body and held her close, as if protecting her from whatever was chasing her in a dream.

"Relax, honey, daddy's here." Jeremiah rubbed Marion's head which was covered in sweat, kissing the top of her daughter's head which was still panting from what she had just experienced. Not! It was just a dream. However, if it's a dream, why does it feel so real?

"Daddy ... i-I saw mom ... m-mom ... she is a vampire."

Jeremiah was shocked when he heard Marion's words. He was still wide-eyed, but soon the look of surprise faded from his face. Marion must have been dreaming.
