Chapter 287: Back at the Chen Mansion

As the car moved slowly through the lanes, Bai Liyue chose to close her eyes to rest. The ambience inside the car was so good, that she unknowingly fell asleep and only woke up when the car finally stopped moving. However, the moment she opened her eyes and took a look at her surrounding, she frowned slightly. 

"Why did you bring me here?" she questioned the driver sharply while looking at the big gloomy Chen Mansion. 

The driver looked back at her, confused. "Ma'am, I was ordered to pick you up and bring you back home." 

Bai Liyue narrowed her eyes and it was at that moment, a realization hit her. By coincidence, the Chen family had also sent a car to pick her up. And, by mistake, she got inside the wrong car thinking that it was sent by Qin Yufeng to pick her up. She groaned in her heart and took out her phone to message Qin Yufeng when suddenly, the driver spoke again. 

"Is everything okay, Miss Chen?"
