Chapter 115: Jealousy

Finally, the engagement was over.

She was engaged to the stupid clown standing next to her. 

Everyone looked happy. Especially her parents, Si Jingyun, and his father had big smiles on their faces. She noticed that Si Jingyun's mother didn't look quite happy. Though she was trying to smile, showing that she was ecstatic because of this engagement, the look in her eyes betrayed her. 

Immediately, Bai Liyue came to the conclusion that Si Jingyun's mother didn't like her. Maybe, she never wanted her/Chen Ziyue to become Si Jingyun's wife. 

Well, this was quite interesting...

"Ladies and gentlemen, please give a big round of applause to the engaged couple, my dear daughter Chen Ziyue and my amazing son-in-law, Si Jingyun," Chen Ziyue's father said aloud on the mic, showing a big smile to everyone. 

Everyone cheered and clapped for the re-engaged couple.
