They held each other for a few minutes before Alex sat on the chair next to Asue, still holding her hand, and started to comfort her, "I know you have gone through so much, but this time will be different. I don't know if you know about this or if you encountered it in your previous lives, but the system has awoken its consciousness, and it's on our side." 

When she heard this, Asue froze and let go of Alex's hand, "What do you mean the system has awoken its consciousness… has she contacted you too?" 

Alex was surprised when he found out that Nano had contacted Asue too, but then he remembered all the things Nano could do; he found it very normal for her to deduce that Asue was from the future too and contact her. 

"she contacted me when I joked about being from the future. Apparently, I made the system notice all the abnormality I had caused, which awakened Nano." Alex explained, "Thankfully, she is on our side and…."
