Azkar stared after Neveah, a ghost of a smile settled on his lips. It was neither a sinister nor a malicious smile but a smile that actually appeared genuine.

Though with Azkar, one could never tell for certain what truly went through his mind.

"If you detested me, you would not care what happened to me...yet you left a warning. You have grown weak since the hidden city, Neveah... you know empathy now, and you do not even realise it." Azkar clicked his tongue quietly.

"Yet even now, you are all the more intriguing." Azkar murmured, chuckling to himself.

"My Lord." Leon's voice sounded as he emerged from the shadows.

Where he had been all the while, one could not guess.

"You came here in such a hurry to save the girl. What about our business here?" Leon asked Azkar.

Azkar shook his head slightly, glancing around the storehouse.

The stench of blood was pungent in the air and the sight was one Azkar would tag as a work of art.
