Attendants and servants of all levels discussed it in hushed tones yet no one dared speak of it out loud, whatever involved the Dragon King, the residents of the Keep knew better than to tattle about it.

"Addie, did you hear of what has happened some hours ago in the Keep?" Rosalie whispered over to Adrienne, in an attempt not to draw too much attention to her words.

In the healer's hall, the ladies sat at their places awaiting the arrival of the junior royal healer that would handle their guidance for the day.

On a usual day, it would be junior royal healer Iden who was in charge of the trainee healers, but this was not just any day.

All the most talented royal healers had been summoned by Lord Everon up to Lord Imagor's quarters on the second level and had not reported to the healer hall at all and it was already past noon.
