Chapter 355: I Came As Soon As I Heard

Once Richard had a plan coming together, he made the call. Adam was not happy to answer the phone since he barked "what?" into it rather viciously but this didn't deter him. He got straight to business.

  "You didn't come to my wedding because of your face, correct?"

This threw Adam off. His tone was both surprised and wary. "…how do you even know about my face?"

"I just came from a meeting and overheard a rather interesting conversation involving Joshua Wilkerson, acting CEO of Fantasy Floral. You didn't mention you weren't in charge anymore."

"Why would I? I'm more surprised none of your sources told you."

"My sources only tell me what I might find interesting. That didn't interest me until now."

Richard wouldn't have cared about whatever Joshua Wilkerson was up to if he didn't think he could use it to help himself out. It wasn't his business if Adam was a gullible fool. But in this case, he was also a useful one.
