Chapter 37: The "Situation"

Two weeks later, Murray cafe.

Kim Aeri looked up from her phone as the seat opposite hers was occupied. A slim man in a gold-rimmed square-shaped framed glasses smiled at her.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting, Aeri. I had an emergency court hearing," Choi Wook said adjusting his necktie. 

"You don't have to explain much. I understand, we are all slaves to our jobs," she replied.

"Even you? I thought your time will be more flexible since you are the boss".

She sighed, "I wish. These days I work more than my staff".

"With great power comes great responsibilities. It must be tough but if anyone can do this it is you"

"Thanks".

They paused briefly to tell the waiter their orders, they continued after the waiter had taken all their orders.
