"Since this game surely has a deep connection to weddings, instead of figuring out the secrets behind it, we should leave that task to Lucien, who has more understanding with regards to this matter?"

"Yes," Lexi answered honestly. Leon slapped his forehead with his palm and sighed.

"But he is a demon slayer Lexi. We can't blindly trust him. I know you wanted to team up with him because he was strong. But his strength stems from demon slayer magic! There's no way he'll leave us alone after we pass this game." 

"Brother," Lexi's butterflies had already melted back to its solidified state and Lexi opened her palm to receive them. The coagulated blood disappeared on the surface of her skin. She brought her palm right under her nose and breathed in. 

"He can be our key to survival, brother." A smile appeared on Lexi's lips. "Just trust me okay?"
