Chapter 56: Deal

The door swung open and Lucien came inside. Aiden noticed the subtle look of worry clouding in Lucien's face. He wants to reach out and brush it off.

"Can you walk? Or should I send the food here in your bed?"

"Feed me."

Lucien did not pause to respond, "Alright."

A spark of joy sprinkled in Aiden's face, when he saw Lucien's absent-minded eyes he pouted in disappointment. What seems to be a great deal to him is nothing to Lucien. But he did not feel bad.
