Chapter 70: I am doomed

★★★

"What? Alexander Luther! Are you fucking kidding me?" Danny stopped the car and said in shock. She felt something hit her head. Isabella not only wants to move out but wants to be with the devil Alexander Luther, who has a terrible reputation with women. No one knows how many women committed suicide for him.

"Don't stop me. I want to. He didn't force me. All that time, he warned me not to stay with him. I just can't keep myself away from him.

There is a lot of trouble that has no name and I need a solution," Isabella requested helplessly because the other day she expressed her disdain for him and now she wanted to live with him, which was unbelievable to her friends.

"Alright, chill. But are you sure? Because we've heard he is about to engage that woman named Angela," Bethany asked, placing her palm on her forehead. They were shocked instead of happy and did not have words to express what was going on in their head. They would be over the moon if Isabella had mentioned someone else's name, and they would dance on the road. But Bella, with Alexandra Luther, wasn't giving them any good feelings.

"I am sure and it is a hoax. They have nothing between them. Just for 1 month, we've decided to live together, then we will part our ways for good," Isabella said with a smile. There was no fear, no regret on her face. She was adamant about choosing this path, and that stopped Danny and Bethany from asking any further questions.

"So, how will you approach your father? He won't allow you," asked Danny as they knew Bella's father. He was protective and his life was Bella. Persuading him wouldn't be easy.

"Umm... In that, you will help me convince my dad by saying you brought a house and I will live with you for one month," spoke Isabella with an awkward shrug, as it was the first time she decided to do a big thing. Also made a lie just a minute ago.

"Alright, but you will give us every detail of his house and the exact address," Bethany said with a concerned voice because Bella had never dated a man and never lived with someone. So it kind of scares them. In addition, the man's reputation wasn't very amicable.

"Done," Bella grinned, while Danny and Bethany rolled their eyes. They spent the rest of the journey with their mouths closed, making no sound other than the air they breathed.

"Congratulations, Bella," voices echoed as they entered. The poppers blasted. Bernard, Merry, and Sunny stood with gifts and cakes to celebrate the victory. They couldn't see the game as they didn't know she would play.

"Thank you, everyone," Isabella smiled and hugged her dad, who was jumping with joy.

"I am proud of you," Bernard said in tears, rubbing his daughter's back.

"O, come on, old man. Don't let my girl cry," Merry's voice rang behind them, who got annoyed by this daughter and father's pair because she was waiting for Bella to hug.

"You are jealous," Bernard grumbled with an angry face. Bella smiled and soothed her father's heart, then she came to Merry, who kissed her head and hugged her.

"Okay, okay. Now let her cut the Cake," Sunny said, who arranged everything in a short time.

"This has become a bit much. I didn't win FIFA," Bella said with a slothful face. She was grateful for everything. Everyone was glad, but celebrating in a big way was the last thing she wanted.

"Shut up! We've cooked a lot of dishes. So, cut the cake quickly," said Merry with a moppet smile, and went to the table. Everyone circled the table while Bella cut the cake.

Later, the same table was filled with dishes cooked by her father and aunt Merry. They were looking good, and the smell was heavenly and tempting.

"Wow. I envy you, Bella. Look at these dishes. They are only made for you. God is so biased," Bethany said, but her hand already dug into the pasta which aunt Merry had cooked with Italian seasoning.

"I don't think your envy will show any Mercy to the food, Beth," joked Bella with a chuckle. All of them laughed concurrently while someone was taking Bethany's snapshot simultaneously.

"Sunny, my boy, if you are done taking Bethany's picture, you can start eating or the food will become cold and inedible," Bernard spat without hesitation. Everyone pursed their lips to stop their laughing, and Bethany coughed violently after choking on her food.

"No, I was just scrolling through the internet," Sunny denied in a fumbling voice and Bethany couldn't help but give him a side-eye look with a glare as a small warning. Not only did he embarrass her in front of everyone also hindered her dinner.

"All right," Bernard winked at him, raised his spoon, and asked Sunny to eat it, who nodded in embarrassment and dipped his head into the pasta.

"Dad, I have something to tell but don't freak out," Isabella said and stopped her spoon. Although her spoon didn't move that much because she ate nothing. Her spoon was only twirling across pasta, but they didn't get a chance to go into her mouth.

"Yea...go ahead," Bernard replied with a calm voice, and turned to his daughter. Taking the napkin, he wiped his mouth and waited for Bella to start.

"I.. I... Want to move out for one month with Danny because she brought a new house and I want to stay there for a couple of days," Isabella said with difficulty. This wasn't a big thing for normal kids these days, but for Isabella, it was a big thing.

"Umm... It's a lot of days," Bernard said with a smile, but not an exact smile. If Danny wasn't here, then his answer would be no, straight.

"Please," Bella requested. "Danny, when you will shift into your new house?" Bernard asked Danny, taking his eyes from Bella.

"I am already shifted in my house, uncle Bernard," Danny's eyelashes trembled in fear, futile her effort which she had gathered to face this exact situation.

"So, when do you want to move?" Bernard asked Bella after listening to Danny. Though his mood was already off, he did not want to hurt his daughter.

"Tomorrow," Isabella replied

"Okay," Bernard threw the napkin in a pissed mood. He got angry somehow and didn't keep himself on the table. So, he left the dinner table.

Bella followed him and stood up, but Merry stopped her. "Let me talk to him. Sit and eat your dinner," Merry said and went after Bernard.

"I am doomed." Isabella clutched her hair in frustration and looked at the dishes that had been left untouched because of her.
