"He's a jerk. He wanted to play with both women," murmured Isabella and angrily sped up the car. She wouldn't tolerate his crap. He had to choose a path, either she or that woman.
"Did I just accept being his girlfriend?" Isabel questioned herself, biting her lips. She was blinded by jealousy and did not realize that she was envious of seeing Alexander with someone else.
"Darn it!" Isabella cursed herself for stepping into his net after learning everything.
"Bella, come back to your sense. Don't allow him to hog you. He is an evil man," Bella constantly chanted, till reaching her college.
She was not in a hurry to enter the college, so she sat in her car, thinking about what she would do now. Will she talk to that jerk, or forget everything before it becomes more painful?
Suddenly, she jolted in her seat when a man thumped on the window. She saw Noah was muttering something, but she couldn't get it. So she slid down the window to listen to him.
"What are you doing, sitting in the car?" Noah said and opened the door for him to enter.
"Nothing. Bethany and Danny haven't arrived yet, so I am waiting for them," Isabella answered.
It was written all over her face that something is bothering Bella. But Noah did not force her to utter her problem. Because he would be happy if Bella would share her burden willingly, which also gave him a hint that there was a chance for him still.
"How about you? I heard Casey is hitting on you. Go ahead, have fun. She is pretty," Isabella said with a smile. Fling couldn't be kept hidden, never matter how much you have tried.
"Ugh! Stop mentioning it," Noah said, pursing his lips. He was annoyed by his group for the past two days as they were the mastermind of spreading rumors.
"Why? She is beautiful and loves you dearly. You are a lucky man," Bella said. She knew from the first day that Casey liked Noah as she came to ask her about Noah's likes and dislikes.
At first, she thought Casey was jealous and would spout nonsense, but then she realized Casey was a sweet girl and she knew that Noah and she just was a friend.
Bella was about to pursue more when Noah added another sentence that hit Bella's heart, "You can't force yourself to love someone. It happens naturally. So don't think about it."
Bella's eyes were looking at Noah deeply, but her mind already drifted far from the car. She believed that there was no love kind of feeling in her heart for Alexander, but she couldn't deny because of him she was having a hard time controlling herself in a place.
"Bella," Noah called and then gave her a nudge to pull her back to the earth.
"Yee.. a.." Bella's discontinued voice answered him.
"Where are you flying? Noah playfully asked. Bella shook her head and said no.
"Are you okay? Is something troubling you?" Noah questioned as he had been noticing her for the last couple of days and he knew something was going on with Isabella.
"Nothing, I am fine. Let's go inside," Bella answered quickly as if she wanted to run away from Noah's question.
"Hey," Noah held her shoulder and stopped her from getting out of the car. Bella turned her head when Noah hugged her tightly while sitting in the car.
Bella was startled and didn't find a reason for this action. For that, Bella's hands didn't hug him back as they pondered what they would do.
"This is a friendly hug. Why you are stiff and why are you not hugging me back?" Noah asked Bella, making her smile.
"Your action frightened me, damn boy," Bella told him with a smile and hugged him back. Suddenly a small pinch on the back made Noah whimper, "It's hurt, Bella."
"Hahaha, sorry," Bella said and broke away from the hug.
However, both of them didn't notice someone was staring at them with anger in her eyes. They blazed with fury and her knuckles were tightened.
The veins in her forehead were throbbing. It was unbearable for her to control the anger inside her. Her friends always told her about their relationship, but she never believed it. Now she witnessed the scene.
Because of Isabella, Noah never talked to her, not even looked at her once.
Out of the blue, the windshield cracked with a sharp cracking sound. The two people inside the car were shocked in beyond. They got out immediately and saw a stone on the windshield. Certainly, someone just threw it in the car, but who?
"Who the hell are you, man? Are you a child, throwing stones at a car?" Noah shouted, looking around. But Bella stopped him as the person had already disappeared. There was no means of shouting because it was not children's work.
"Bad day, I just took this car from my father, and now this thing occurred," Bella muttered, looking at that cracking windshield where the stone was still there.
"I am sorry. Just give me the car key. I will fix it for you," Noah said.
"No, it's alright I will manage it after class," Bella denied him with a smile.
"Shut up and give me the car key. I know someone who can fix this in hours, also it's very cheap," Noah said and winked at her, cheering her mood.
"Okay. I am in your debt, Milord," Bella joked and handed him the key.
"See you in the college," Bella said and walked towards the college entrance. While Noah left the place with Bella's car.
Not far from them, Casey was hiding near a tree. She was angry and hurt. The last time she talked to Isabella, she said that there was nothing between her and Noah. They are just friends and she believed her, and always supported her if someone said the wrong thing about her. But honestly, she made her fool.
She had no words to explain her feelings. Her tears rolled down. She knew Noah liked Isabella but Isabella had no feelings for him and everyone knew this in the college.
Therefore, she still had time to make Noah fall in love with her. However, Bella shattered her dream.
"You are thinking right, Casey. She is a manipulative girl. The more she's around Noah, the far your love will drift away from you," a girl with dark brown hair spoke behind Casey.
"What do I do to get Noah back?" Casey asked with a sobbed voice. Her heart was aching.
"Do something that will not only make Bella disappear but also punish her for betraying you?" the girl suggested, and Casey was pleased to hear. She nodded her head quickly.
For Casey, the girl was telling her absolute truth. If Bella was around Noah all the time, she would never have had a chance but would have had a chance if she disappeared from his life.
"Yes," she agreed with a smile. But she never tried to look back and look at the girl who suggested all these things, especially how she knew all her feelings, but Casey didn't bother. She was glad that finally, she knew how to win over the man she loved.
"Thank you. We'll talk later," Casey said to the girl, and without looking back, she followed Bella to the college.
"Humans are so fragile creatures. Jealousy is their weakness. Huh!" the same girl uttered, but in the end, the voice turned hoarse. Also, the girl completely changed into a man.
Smiling menacingly, he grabbed the nearby tree and said, "Another gift is ready for you, Satan. I hope you will have fun this time."
After that, the green-eyed devil disappeared from there in the broad daylight.
