After enhancing the ingredients that Faviona and others needed to concoct the Soul Wisdom Potion, he continued his grind to increase his Transcendence Skill level to 9.

As a matter of fact, he had already destroyed numerous items because of this method but he has no other choice but to continue doing it to get more experience. He may not have a Magic Beast Cores to increase his chances but it doesn't matter to him since he can still gain experience even if he fails as long as he uses the System Skill.
