Chapter 364: Deities

Ayla looked at the soldiers leaving the headquarters of the Alchemist Union.

She and her master had taken shelter in this place since they weren't really sure who are the enemies at this time. Turhan can only guarantee that the Alchemist Union which is currently led by an old man who grew up in an orphanage will not be any part of the internal strife that is going on.

Tap… Tap… Tap…

Ayla then heard footsteps going to her room and realized that her Master has finally returned. She immediately stood up and opened the door for her master.

Clack…

As she opened the door, she noticed that her Master Turhan is carrying several scrolls placed in a small wooden crate…

"Master, I didn't know you were interested in ancient scrolls..." Ayla said in surprise as she knows that her Master wouldn't normally browse scrolls like these which are still filled with dust and obviously weren't made of valuable material.
