Chapter 123: Moving On

***ALEX'S POV***

"Congratulations." The voice was familiar, but the person was not. The last time that I had seen the Keeper, they were in the form of a little boy. This time, I saw a girl that was about fifteen maybe. She was pretty, but average looking. Nothing exceptional about her appearance except for her striking golden colored eyes.

"A..are you the keeper?" I asked the girl just to be safe. I couldn't risk this not being her and something bad about to happen to us.

"Indeed, I am, Alex." She smiled and I saw that her perfectly straight and white teeth seemed to glow in the brightness of the room.

"Why have you brought us here? Are we messing up the story?" Jake asked her as he took my hand. I noticed that we weren't wearing the wedding clothes anymore. I was once again wearing the clothes that I had been in when I came into the story, hoodie and backpack included.
