Chapter 114: The Campsite Part 6

**ALEX'S POV**

The final arrow soared from the bow and whistled through the air. I saw that the men in the front winced and cowered in fear. They feared that the arrow was coming toward them since they were closer. All of them paused for just a moment when they saw where the arrow had landed, and who it was that I had just killed. They hadn't expected that the mountain of a man that I had shot would be taken down so easily.

Their hesitation only lasted a moment though. They turned and started to look for us again with renewed vigor. I don't know if they got the extra enthusiasm from the fact that they had been spared, or if they just wanted to get revenge for their fallen friend. Whatever it was though, they were feeling extra excited.
