I thought that I heard someone calling out to me. Someone said the name from my previous story and was walking toward me. However, the moment that I hid I noticed that there were no footsteps coming toward me. Was I just hearing an echo of my own steps? Or maybe Alina's steps? And maybe someone was just talking about ashes and not a person named Ash. It was not likely that someone had known me from my previous story and recognized me. I mean, my hair and eye color were different, and I was shorter than before. No one would ever think that I was the same person. There would be no way that they would think that.
