Chapter 99: Standing Up

"Get out of here you worthless trash!" The shout came from nearby Clark. He had still been a little dazed after the professor had handed an invitation to his classes without much explanation.

When Clark turned around he saw that Maria had been pushed to the ground. "You think we would let you get another beast? What kind of fools do you think we would be? You're just trash with a worthless spirit beast. Go rot in a gutter!"

Hearing this made Clark's blood boil. He knew exactly who was yelling at Maria. It was another member of the Cain family. Because their young master had perished, no one was around to order the servants and lesser ranked members. This was a massive problem. They had all started to fight for power.
