Chapter 129: Is She Alive?

Priyanka walked downstairs carefully. She almost tripped on marbles. No one was in the living room. But there was blood right after the stairs. She picked these marbles up so that no one would get hurt. 

"Excuse me" She called one of the servants passing. The girl stopped and bowed "What happened here?"

"Mrs Singh fell from the stairs. She was rushed to the hospital immediately."

"When did that happen?" Priyanka managed to ask. Her fingers were numb and her heart thumped within her chest. So much has happened and she had no idea.

"A few minutes ago, ma. If you heard a scream then it was her" The servants explained.

Priyanka nodded. Of course, she heard that strange sound. Who could it be? Grandmother or aunt Saraswati? They were both Mrs Singh. "Is it aunt Saraswati?"

The girl was about to answer when Saraswati entered the room with aunt Jigyasa. Lakshmi walked behind them with a male servant that was holding a few shopping bags.
