Chapter 152: Mutual Glee

Sometime later- Doughless made his grand entrance- 

He bowed before the door- right next to the other bowing man- Lavil. 

Yup- I was sitting pretty in my chair- brought back loads of memories-

Amiya on the right; Nalia and Aileen on the left.

Meanwhile, Mitjahl and Kitty stood by the door- 

Kitty in particular had this amazing proud grin- 

Apparently, he was really impressed with me for some reason?

Anyway-

"Well, do explain-" I said.

A hand on my chin- my ankle against the table- head slightly tilted. Finally-

"Thank you for freeing me, my lord. I questioned Lavil's actions and was against quite a few, hence he accused me of treason and chained me, that is all." Tight-lipped as usual.

The man was a stout really muscular guy-

Or at least that's how he used to be.

Apparently, he came from a commoner family and climbed up the ranks by my uncle's favor.
