Chapter 151: Melted away

Rosen-

Was different.

As in, the command was different.

Back when I was still ruling, this place had two earls.

Lavil and Doughless. 

Both were loyal- at least they appeared to be. 

But Doughless seemed to care about the people more than Lavil- and that's why I made him the regent when I left- for war.

However- Lavil took over while Doughless committed treason?

Sounded a bit too fishy.

So-

Yeah-

I walked-

Through the hallowed halls-

The halls I so intimately knew-

The halls- I'd spent days upon days just wandering around.

The guards- the soldiers- the maids- everyone- just parted- and didn't really know what to do.

They couldn't attack me- or show disrespect.

But at the same time- they couldn't stop me either. 

Some of them I actually knew- and some not so much.

This place had a lot of memories attached to it.
