Therefore, he figured that now that everyone there knew about the System that he might as well buy something from the store or open some boxes before they got down to the surface.

Between both the sabre and the daggers he had enough melee weapons for the time being. As for ranged weapons, he had both the rifle and the sidearm but, although it was the exact same amount as the melee weapons that he had, it still felt like there were more holes in his equipment pool from that.
