Gus took some time to watch the map on the central deck as they travelled, the digital shape of it twisting and contorting to show them their surroundings as they cut through human space on the way to the frontier. After a minute or two of it, he chose to turn and head back upstairs to the office, where he was able to look through the system in peace and without the risk of being caught out by anyone.

Once upstairs, he threw himself onto his bed as he opened the system.
