Chapter 183: - Darkhands

The ride back from the forge was a quiet one. Gus and Jessica travelled back together in a different vehicle to the one they had gone there in, without the other enforcers who had been with them. Upon leaving the forge, Gus received confirmation of the mission being completed.

During the journey, Gus decided to look at the store to see if there was anything that he should purchase. But since he didn't know what was to come next, aside from knowing that there was at least something, he chose to hold back on making a purchase right away.

"What did you think of that one?" Jessica asked once they were back at the enforcer's main base.

"It was fine, I suppose," Gus answered. "I'm a little bit confused as to how he was able to stand after I kicked his leg, though."

"Maybe you're not as strong as you thought."

"Maybe. I know I'm not as strong as I want to be."
