"Holy shit!" Gus exclaimed as he saw the amount of EXP that he had received from that single volley.

He had made a mistake in using the double EXP so soon, it would seem. Sure, that had granted him two total level ups, and those level ups proved to be a massive boost, even if purely just because he had extra health from as a result, but if he had only had the foresight to save it for a time like this, then he would scale up in level extremely quickly. But hopefully he would get another one soon, and then he would waste no time in seeking out the Bloody Dawn and power levelling.

In terms of what he had done in the actual fight, it was not much. He had taken out about a quarter of the group of Shenia that he had fired at, and while that seemed decent from a system perspective, there were multiple groups like that all charging their position.
