Chapter 4: Chapter 4
As I sent the death energy into her, I felt her heartbeat increase and her face turned red.
She caught my hand that was on her chest and moved uncomfortably on the bed. She said "Itsuki.... what are you doing?...I feel weird...I feel something down..."
I kept sending the death energy into her and her wounds started healing, while she kept moving more vigorously while rubbing her two legs against each other.
After I was sure that all her wounds had healed, I looked down near her legs. Mom was completely naked, as Luna took off her Phantom lady dress to burn it.
We were already taught about sex in our school, not by teachers ,but friends. Since mom's life was at stake, I didn't think much and asked "Mom, what happened? Were you injured here too?"
She said "No, but I feel something coming. Move away." and I could already guess what might happen, but even before I could move away from her I got sprayed all over my face.
Mom looked embarrassed and I didn't know what to say. Luna, who entered the room, said "If you two are done flirting, there are cops searching the neighborhood."
I came back to my senses and brought mom, clothes to wear, while I started cleaning all the places that had mom's blood.
She was all dressed up and was still embarrassed about what just happened. We all moved down to the living room and continued watching the movie.
While we were watching the movie, Luna said "Oh Itsuki, I forgot about this." and took out a big purple gem, which had the same color as my mom's hair.
I looked at it while mom panicked and said "Itsuki, throw it away quickly. The police might find it."
I didn't want to just throw away a gem my mom had just risked her life getting. So, I tied it to a small rope and stuck it with tape, inside the chimney.
Now, a tape can't hold on to the rope and would fall pretty quickly and I already had a plan to send them off quickly.
As I just finished hiding the gem, I heard the doorbell ring. Luna wanted to answer it, but I stopped her and went to the door.
When I opened it, I found two police officers, a man and a woman. I already expected to find a woman as they needed to check woman and the topic of women empowerment is a hot topic now a days.
I said "Hello, how can I help this beautiful woman."
I knew that I was just a teenager and she was a woman, but no woman would stop someone from praising them. Praises are something every woman enjoy.
And with my looks, which I am confident on, I knew my plan would work. The woman blushed while the man behind her had an annoyed face.
I wasn't actually completely confident in my plan as both mom and me looked half American and half Asian. Immigrants weren't that welcomed anywhere in the world.
He said "We are here to search for some and hope you will co-operate."
I invited them in, and they asked "Do you live here alone?"
I told them that I live with my mom and my girlfriend. They were already in a hurry, and I kept talking with the female officer, the man was completely annoyed because the female officer was friendly with me.
Women just started joining all fields due to the women empowerment thing, so there are a very few women in every field. So, in a police station with all men and only 3-5 men, the women would have a lot of following.
The man said to the female police officer "We need to check other houses in this neighborhood too. So, just finish checking quickly."
They just checked if anyone was hiding in the house and checked Luna and mom's waist to see if they had any injuries.
I walked them to the out and the female officer said "You sure are a smooth talker. Be careful though, the Phantom lady ran this way and would kill anyone if they are in her way."
They both left to the next house and returned back to the living room and continued watching Titanic.
Mom was uncomfortable about the silence and said "Itsuki, why are you quiet about this. Your mom is a thief and is a wanted person."
I just said "Because you are my mom"
Luna, from my left, said "Damn, where did you learn to talk like that."
Mom just burst out crying while she rubbed her face on my sleeves. She said "I didn't have a choice, this is all I learnt when I was on the streets. But, I only stole from those who earn money through dirty means. And I never killed anyone. I just knock them out and leave the place after taking what I want."
I just looked at her and said "Mom, you didn't have to explain yourself."
To that, she replied "I don't care what others think about me, I didn't want you to hate me."
Luna, who didn't want to disturb us, just continued to enjoy the movie while I hugged my crying mother.
After she calmed down, Luna asked "What happens now? Will you continue to be the Phantom lady?" and mom replied "No, I saved enough from all the things I stole. We can all move from here and live wherever we want."
I asked "Do you have all of that in cash?" and she nodded.
"Where should we go?" I asked and mom replied "How about London?"
I then felt a pull on my left sleeve and turned to find Luna with tears in her eyes. She asked " Are you going to leave me?"
I just smiled and said " No, you are obviously coming with us and if your mother doesn't allow you to go with us, we will just take her with us."
Luna's father died when she was small. So, that's how her mom and my mom got closer. Since Luna lived with me, my mom would occasionally go to their house to not let Luna's mother feel lonely.
She was happy when she heard that. Then mom asked "Itsuki, when were you planning on telling me about your magic?"
I don't know if I would call it magic, but that is the word that could explain what happened till now.
I then explained what happened and she was shocked completely. She said "It sounds like the power of demons from those fantasy novels. Anyway, you have to inform me about these in the future."
She then asked "Then why did I feel good, and I even came on you today?"
Luna also said "I also felt something weird between my legs when he used it on me."
I replied "That is weird. This energy is something I get from dead people. It shouldn't make you feel aroused. Well, even I don't know completely about myself. Only time can tell."
We then continued to enjoy the movie, completely forgetting that my mom almost died today.
The next year went by normally again. The news announced that the Phantom lady died due to the shootout, which was helpful for us, as mom decided to stop her Phantom lady work, even after Luna begging her not to.
Luna wanted all three of us to form a team and steal things from corrupted rich people, which did sound fun, but also risky.
I consulted some underground dealers and got them to make all the money mom made, legal.
They did take 10% as commission, but they got the job done pretty properly.
We had a paper company on my mom's name and the money became the funds and investments for the company. They successfully managed to legalise 100 million dollars in just 6 months.
We easily moved to London with Luna and her mom, and settled down in a pretty good home.
We got admitted to a good high school and life was happy for a year.
After a year, we were all having dinner, except Luna's mom, who went out to meet someone.
Mom asked me "Itsuki, did you think about your future?" and I had already taught about the perfect job for me.
"Since my power revolves around people's death, I need a job that revolves around that. I obviously can't become a grave digger, doctor sounds boring and being a killer sounds risky." I said.
"So, what did you decide in the end?" Luna asked and I replied "Police"
