"But Sir! what about your wife?" Katherine asked knowing very well that Rena didn't like her one bit.
If her boys were to suddenly start staying at her house, she would get the wrong idea and it could cause trouble.
Hearing that, Mike said, "What about her? There is nothing to be worried about Katherine. Rena can't do anything and it's not like she is always around to make a fuss, she is either in a shooting or in another country so there is nothing to be worried about."
"Having the boys over would make annabella less lonely and it could make things for you easier so please don't refuse me." Mike said sincerely and hearing that, Katherine had no other choice but to comply.
After the long drive to Katherine's house, they finally got there and with that, Katherine said, "Ok than, I guess we are home. I'll wake the boys and head oj inside."
Katherine said as she was about to come out and seeing that, Mike said, "No! don't wake them up, they seem tired. I'll carry them inside."
He suggested and Katherine nodded m With that, Mike came down and carried Jun and Jin gently as not to wake them up and then Carried into the house as Katherine followed from behind.
"They are really heavy, what do you feed them?" Mike asked as he placed the boys on their comfortable bed.
Hearing that, Katherine giggled before replying, "I give them the best of the best meals so that they can grow up healthy and happy."
She replied and Mike seemed to be happy with her answer as he nodded in understanding.
Coming out of the house, Mike said, "So I'll be on my way home now, I'll come pick you up Tomorrow and I'll come along with Annabella so we can take the kids to school on our way."
Mike said and hearing that, Katherine smiled slightly before then saying, "Ok sir! thank you for the ride and have a safe trip back home."
Nodding, Mike then turned around, entered his car and drove off.
Katherine didn't go back inside until the car was out if sight.

The next morning came in really fast, and today Mike woke up more happily than usual.
He was totally looking forward to picking up Katherine and seeing her beautiful face.
After getting dressed, he made his way downstairs and could see that both Annabella and Rena were already seated on the breakfast table.
Giving Annabella a big kiss on her cheek, Mike said, "Good morning my mushroom, how was your night?"
He asked as he took a seat at his usual chair. Hearing that, Annabella replied with a cute smile, "It was great Papa!"
Meanwhile, Rena just scrolled through her phone screen trying as much as possible to act ignorant to Mike.
She was still angry at him with that secretary of his. She didn't even try to convince him to stay at their room last night so as for him to know how upset she was.
But Mike was more than happy to have her to leave him be. He was finally free from her problems and Argument even though it was just for a night.
Just then, the cute and beautiful voice of Annabella was Heard as she said to her mom and dad, "Papa! Mama! My teacher said that I should inform you about the mother's day Coming next Monday."
She said and hearing that, Mike said, "Hmm...I see, what's it about?"
He asked although he knew that it was about mother's, he still wanted to know what was gonna happen.
Hearing that, Annabella then explained, "Well we are gonna make cards for our mother and our mom is gonna cook a delicious meal for us in the school and feed it to us...they are also gonna do a little mother and her kids competition."
Annabella said with and smile and hearing that, Mike said, "Well in that case I'm totally gonna be there to cheer you on and for you Mama.."
He stopped mid-sentence as he took a quick glance at Rena to see her expression, "I'm sure your mom would be Happy to cook and have fun with you on that day."
He said as hearing that, Annabella's face widened as she said, "Really Mama?"
Hearing that, Rena forced out a smile as she replied awkwardly, "o-of course baby, I won't miss it for the world."
"Yay!" Annabella rejoiced as she stood up and went on ahead to hug Rena who hugged her back while throwing dagger at Mike.
