Chapter 68: You Look Familiar

Then, the day came where the celebration in Lucas's family house was held. No. The word house was an understatement made by Valerie when she informed Irene about it.

Irene then linked her arms around Valerie's arms as they enter the huge mansion together. There is a classic massive staircase leading to the main entrance of the estate.

Valerie herself does not know that Lucas's family house is more of like a mansion or a palace. Of course, she went multiple times to his house but nothing seemed out of ordinary.

To Valerie, Lucas was an ordinary but hot public high school teacher whom she met through a common friend in a blind date. But never did he mentioned to her that he was rich.

Public high school teachers are not often seen as someone who is rich but someone who has a humble upbringing. In fact  considering that the mansion is built practically inside the woods, Valerie nor Irene expected their house to be this big.
