Chapter 37: Horrible People

The working days seemed to have passed like lightning. At the filming place, Irene could not help but think of the things she will do during her rest day.

Much to her delight, a rest day has come. However, Amiel is not home yet.

"I don't know how I never had the idea of giving Amiel a cell phone for us to communicate," Irene sighs while preparing to go outside and do grocery shopping.

With her working most days of the week and eating out most of the time, there is nothing she misses more than filling her stomach with warm home-made meals. She craves spicy stir fried noodles.

Grabbing her bag and car keys, Irene exits her condo and walks down on the way to the underground parking lot and drives herself to the nearest grocery store.

Irene was about to get off the car when she forgot to do something, "Masks! I forgot to wear a face mask!" she said while putting it on and fixing her black baseball cap.
