Chapter 55: Chapter 54 - Stop perving
"Oh nice! You've finally got yourself a hot boyfriend like I told you to! Pack it up gents, she's off the market!"
The receptionist jokingly said believing that Caelum was Nancy's boyfriend considering his features suitable for her. Nancy only giggled glancing at him since she can't deny that her heart skips a bit every time she's around him. However, her morals were holding her back to pursuing him similar to her twin sister.
"You misunderstood because Caelum is my Nephew."
"Is that so? Bummer, here I thought you'd found the perfect soulmate. That aside, let's register you two and explain a few things."
Nancy went ahead with his mom and Caelum handled the rest and listened to her explanation regarding the available facilities within the gym. Caelum ear perked up when the mention of swim class was included. He was eager to apply next time when he was free and after her explanation went ahead upstairs where only Nancy and his mother started to stretch their bodies.
His mother seemed to be naturally noticing how her breathing partner was improving from Nancy's instruction. Caelum seems to be enlightened, gaining insight even though it was quite the cringe. Though, his knowledge in yoga from quick trivial search led him to understand the principle of the exercise.
The primary thing is control and flexibility when it comes to exercise. By doing so allows the mind to be in a serene state and relax by letting go. Caelum moves closer looking at the two.
"Caelum!? Why don't you join us and do some stretching first? You don't want to embarrass yourself later."
"I can handle a bit of yoga so don't worry. How about you, mom? Do you feel more at ease?"
"Yeah, it feels relaxing doing this….my body feels amazing."
"I admire your cockiness. Savor it while it lasts…. you'll understand what it is to do yoga!"
Nancy enthusiastically stood up pointing at his cockiness that made him chuckle, finding her competitive tone to be quite cute. Celine giggled as she stood up from the mat knowing her sister viewed everything as competition which Dalia obviously inherited. Soon enough, Caelum met his aunt's friend who sounded incredibly annoyed that he ignored her.
After a while, the yoga class was about to start noticing that their instructor quickly moved to kiss Nancy's hand which did not sit well with him, letting a bit of his pressure stop him. Few minutes later, Everyone one was starting to perform an unorthodox movement, bending their body letting everyone flow. Caelum started to use this as a basis in unlocking his [ Eight Great Meridian Awakening ].
He obviously isolated himself with [ Unlimited Imprisonment ] that made sure nothing would leak if by chance unblock his first gate. Caelum needed to find a better exercise exploring his mind until finding the Taichi principles that could help further his advancement later. For now his objective is to use the Yoga exercise to open his Great Meridians.
His blood started to flow trying to find balance with his mind, body and soul. Anyone would find it cringy that a simple yoga was able to give great benefits but when that person has access to real energy then it just turns into a profound exercise. If he delved even deeper in principles of Yoga exercise then he'd find many clues in reaching Enlightenment.
Caelum felt that his blood seemed to change, flooding his Magic Circuit and nourishing his flesh while a point within his body started to shimmer that wasn't visible to anyone beside him. His blood seems to be thicker and denser than before giving off great vigor.
Though it was tearing through his muscle only to be restored and tempered into a stronger one. He could only concentrate on unlocking the Gate of Healing that was Located between the collarbones.
'His really getting into it! Guess he has reason to be cocky.'
Nancy opened her eyes when everyone was meditating and noticed how Caelum was able to remain calm and serene that she couldn't help but be enticed. She quickly continued meditating while Celine did the same amazement by her son.
'I wish I could be as calm as my son but….there so many doubts in my heart that I thought by doing yoga could get my mind off it yet I couldn't stop thinking about it.'
Celine tried her best to change the thought yet every time it was always to imagine her son's smiling. Her heart was faltering from the fear of losing into temptation. Few minutes later, the class ended and Caelum, yet to unblock his Great Meridians, still gained something in return.
He stood up then noticed how the teacher seemed to get closer to Nancy making him frown since he disliked seeing them. Caelum could already guess that the guy was taking a liking to her.
"If looks could kill then you have already killed him, Dear."
"I don't trust him one bit and unsure if he's aiming to do something bad like break her heart."
"Fufufu stop that, she's your aunt and knows how to handle herself."
"Yeah she mentioned that he could do Kickboxing. Regardless, as only men in the house can't stop thinking about all of you."
Caelum crossed his arms thinking about what to do and stopped him then spread his senses then found this guy's car then manipulated the space before letting the car on fire. His annoyances were only fuel when he heard him speaking about his fantasy which made him sick.
'Fortunately, I'm not petty enough to kill him.'
He only frowned and waited for a few seconds until the receptionist came running in telling the yoga teacher who quickly ran and ended their class early.
"Poor guy seems like his luck isn't the best."
"Yeah, I don't know what I would do if my car caught on fire."
"Guess our class ended early, I'll be in the bathroom, Sis. Just wait here for me."
Celine took a last glance to her son then headed to the bathroom still tormented by the thought of having her son. She didn't mind her daughter since they are not really related while Celine is a lot older than her son and already been a widow for a few years.
'I can't stop it….what if I found another rto get my son? Wait how about playing that game, Eternum with just the rest of us? That way nothing would change and I can still be with him…No that's just horrible but…'
She continued her thought to the bathroom leaving Caelum and her sister alone. The former decided to try the swimming class when Nancy stopped him from his track.
"Where do you think you're going? We still haven't tried a pose with a partner."
"You're determined to make me eat my words huh?"
"That's right, now lay on the mat and let me do the hard part."
Caelum did as rausting two of his feet while Nancy sat on his sole then bed looking at his face. She closed her eyes while the two seemed to resonate with another and intently stared at Nancy that seemed to slow down time until she seemed to be out of balance and fell on top of Caelum where her shirt lifted up showing her sports bra.
"Are you hurt, Aunt?"
"No no, I should be asking you that."
"I'm fine but I think I need a bit more practice."
"It's not your fault since I think I relaxed too much."
"Well….I guess we have practiced a little bit more then. Together."
Nancy saw his charming smile feeling her heart fluttering with joys from every moment she spent time around caelum. It makes her monotonous life seem to be more lively than before.
"Seems fair to me. We have a lot of time to learn more about each other."
"I'm looking forward to it."
"Me too. You know, my life had been mundane and monotonous until you've come along making every moment seem special."
"That's because I swear that I should live more free and seize every moment leaving no regrets. There's a quote I've once heard and took to heart."
"What would that be? I'm eager to hear it?"
"It goes 'It is better to regret the things you did than the things you didn't do.' That's why I always act to what I desire and though I may regret it, I would still be glad I did because I know where it could have led."
His words seem to take an effect to her heart pounding like crazy, unable to hold her feelings like Celine. It made me want to see how things could lead if she tries being with him.
"That's a good quote. Can I ask you something?"
"Sure, what is it?"
"Do you think about…whether you and me-"
"Sis, aren't you going to take shower too?"
The two quickly let go as Celine and Nancy's annoying friend Gertrude came in. Caelum frowns at the timing yet let it go since she now knows that Nancy is much bolder than his mom.
"Hey Nancy I found a spot in vegan restaurants if you want to join me? I've already ask, Celine here."
"Guess, I'll see you two at dinner then."
"Wait, you won't join us?"
"Unfortunately, I have to meet up with a classmate and discuss our school project."
"Is that so? Then good luck and take care son."
Caelum headed down stairs then met up with the yoga teacher and grew interested in how things will lead with the guy knowing that Nancy has no interest with him. He shifted space then hid his presence to listen to their conversation only to inwardly laugh out loud how things end up.
'He thought Nancy was talking about him? Hahahahaha well thanks buddy, you made things easier now.'
He saw his face become blank and his soul left his body when Nancy just left him after convincing her to let her desire free. Caelum finished heading to shower room where he changed into more casual clothes before grabbing a bite from the luco's cafe that was owned by Luna's father.
"Hey, welcome Caelum! How have you been!? So the usual?"
"Yeah, but make it two this time."
"Guess you've made quite some progress with my daughter then? Hey did you know that she's been a little off after you two played together?"
"Uhmm…"
"Boy, listen up. I like you kid but better make sure not to hurt my princess."
"I won't, that's a promise."
"Good! Also, I have a gut feeling that you're a boy that isn't bound to one woman."
"Where did you get that impression?"
"When you played the game with my princess where you only had girls in your team."
"Sorry but one of them is my cousin and the other is just a friend."
"Sure sure, I believe you kid. As I was saying, I'm not ignorant that my daughter is lonely and doesn't have many friends since you are the first person that she has brought to our home. I can see that you're special in some way and ask if you could help her from being alone."
"I'll do my best."
"Thank you, that's enough for me. Anyway, 'Caelum special' coming right up!"
Caelum chuckled before getting his order of coffee and croissant then headed to the meet up places that Alex sent him. He was relaxing waiting for to arrive wearing black bomber jacket and white inner shirt with ripped jeans and sneakers.
Few minutes later, someone came in with a beautiful motorcycle that Caelum liked. He still hadn't found the opportunity to buy a motorcycle of his own after arriving in Krendon.
"Alexandra?"
"Sup, hop in."
"Nice ride. I have to say I'm quite jealous that you're able to ride that beauty."
"Are you going to keep perving on my bike or are you going to hop in?"
"Hey can't a man appreciate a good bike? Can you show me where you found it? I was planning on buying one soon."
"I'll do the project myself if you don't hop in."
"Okay fine."
