Chapter 22: Chapter 22 - Let's dance!
Laying in his bed, Caelum glanced behind him where Lily was peacefully sleeping on the bed while he went outside to find the snow had begun to fall and understood the situation quite well. He may know the future events yet does not mean it is full detail and could exactly know the location of the enemy. However, he came prepared and placed markers within the children to find them.
Caelum dashed towards the location trying to find where it was and quickly found the children at the entrances. He vaguely guesses that he has been too occupied with Lily that he places his other worries behind. His intuition told him something was about to happen and use [ Shundo ] to arrive in time to shield Sister Theresa from the attack.
"Are you alright, Sister Theresa?"
"Caelum? I'm fine but we need to get the children out of here."
He nodded and used his magic to teleport the children to safety, surprising the elderly nun from the showcase of power. She ponders what kind of magic he has since from what she heard only had ice and fire magic. Once that was done, Caleum saw Asta barely standing while Gauche was heavily wounded.
He turned to see a man with feminine features wearing long robes alongside an assortment of ornaments decorated on his head while his hair was breaded. This was Patri who calls himself Litch. Alongside him was a skinny spatial guy who had tried using his magic on Caelum before.
"My my, what do we have here? Asta, go ahead and let me handle rest."
"No, I can help you."
He didn't need to argue and send everyone who would ruin his fun back to the city confusing his enemy.
"Are you confident or a fool?"
"Both. Now then if I have to guess you are the leader of that terrorist group that attack the clover kingdom right?"
Caelum pretends to not know him and flares his enormous magical energy causing those weaker than litch to tense up. He only uses it in a small margin trying to enjoy his upcoming fight.
"Yes, my name is Litch and you may see as terrorist but we nothing more than your redemption for the sinbyouve all comitted!!"
"Sure I don't really care about them like the nobles but…"
Caelum increased his pressure making his opponent see the pending danger but refused to escape. He smiled showing his golden eyes and disappeared from sight. Patri launched light magic towards Caelum but to his shock the attack was deflected by a barrage of sword swings.
"…But let's enjoy our dance shall we?."
Caelum vanished from his spot while patri caught on and used his power to then move to evade another light magic as he moved like he was dancing.
"Woah sheesh that almost hit me!"
Caelum turned towards the spatial crack and used attraction force to grab the skinny guy by the neck. The person tried to struggle but it was in vain seeing Caelum was a lot stronger than he was.
"Hahah this guy really annoying why don't you sleep for now."
He then used his [ Dragon Haki] to knock the spatial user then threw him to the side while Patri launched dozens of light magic. It was so fast that Caelum barely caught on considering it was light speed. However, his defense and prediction was able to evade most of it.
Caelum then conjured numerous blades that countered patri's light magic while he used [ Koku Shundō ] to appear in all directions trying to confuse his enemy then stabbed him from the back yet quickly stepped back when the light attack was launched behind patri.
His enemy then healed himself and started to get really pissed as he created light whips.
"You human scum, all of you are the same, all of you deserve to die!!!"
The light whips lashed at the cave wall promptly creating numerous rock and debris yet Caelum just countered by producing a small yet sharp shards of ice acting similar to byakuya's Bankai.
"Raging tempest."
Patri flared his magical energy to push back the attack with Caelum wasn't fazed by his power and tapped his sword on his shoulder giving a light smirk.
"Hey this is getting boring, why don't you try taking this more seriously."
This made him more angry and charged up a powerful magic but Caelum remained indifferent only forming a new pair of arms wielding swords at each other before all was sliced by his blade. It was unfortunate that even light would freeze under his magic due even Mana can be turned to I've by his magic.
Patri's enormous magic turned them into ice before shattering them into dust and made him dumbfounded by the result. Caelum dashed towards Patri but was interrupted when a fist came towards his face that forced him to grab it then struck their abdomen and launched the enemy into the wall. Then he evaded the light sword and did a roundhouse kick towards the person pushing the person back a dozen of feet.
"Oh look who finally decided to join the party."
He took a step back and observe the new guest. There are currently three people that arrived, the person who did not attack him was currently healing Patri while the other to tow was starting to stand up.
Caelum couldn't help but be pumping in adrenaline because finally he could fight someone that gave him excitement. He was currently holding back but it didn't matter as he wanted to feel exhilarated.
His [ dragon ] race was boiling to fight them but held back. His opponents were one female and two males. The female had short salmon hair with a dazed expression that wore a similar robe as Patri.
One man had beastly face with bare fur like skin alongside tattoo on his face similar design as Patri and other was lazy looking man with messy dark hair. There Fana, Vetto and Liar.
"This is going to be troublesome can we finish this quickly?
"Human you dare hit me! Prepare to feel despair!"
"Litch I promised this person will surely die."
"Oh really now? Then why don't you attac-"
Instantly the beastly man, Vetto used his beast magic to increase his speed trying to claw Caelum who just evaded the attack and grabbed Liar who appeared behind him as a shield that made Vetto retract his attack. Both were in front of him and he quickly attacked.
Liar could feel he was struck by immense force that promptly made him vomit blood and was sent flying alongside vetto.
"My my this is really hard…."
His golden eyes shimmer in delight emanating an even more magical energy and emanating an ominous aura that made them shiver in fear but still held strong.
"Now then why don't we go up a notch shall we?"
Caelum then brought the white tempest and place behind his back causing a power current of magical energy churning towards his direction. He smiled seeing their reaction and molded a dozen blades before pouring enormous magical energy into the four blades then created four slashes simultaneously.
The attack caused the cave to collapse where dust in debris was everywhere while Caelum stood with his golden eyes shimmering through the smoke.
His gaze turn towards his enemies who only shuddered in fear while the beastly man was burning the desire of killing Samshiel. They couldn't retreat knowing their opponent would be a hindrance towards their plan.
The very next moment he was in front of them and they tried to evaded his blade yet still managed to put a large laceration. The beastly man attacked using animalistic jabs but was only mere scoffs as the inertia was robbed from them.
All two screamed in pain as they were cut in countless ways. He was holding back in order not to kill them considering their purpose for the future. Caelum evaded a light magic that grazed his skin then turned to look at the assailant who was growing infuriated.
"This is really troublesome….holding back is hardest thing."
They heard one simple words that made everything meaningless. All of them had pride but their opponent was beyond them.
"Tch we need to retreat! This thing is beyond what we initially thought!"
The dark messy hair was sweating violently as he stared at his enemy. He had the ability to know if that person was lying and the fact Caelum told the truth made him more terrified. Liar could have told his allies that they were being manipulated but it might cause more problems than he thought which is why he let their plan happen.
Caelum knows this fact and he was doing the same as there are things he needed until then. Everyone witness was not a young man instead was a terrifying beast looking down at their prey.
"No, he must pay! We can't let him go knowing the threat he poses to us.."
They realize what they had to do and use a powerful magic seal removing Caelum access to man for a limited time. He was unfazed but decided to use a different method in fighting.
"Not bad but…!"
Caelum uses his [ Dragon Haki ] to push them away before his grimoire summons a great sword containing the [ Anti-Magic ] property. With a single swing the beastly man was sent flying and not wasting any time Caelum moved to swing his blade toward Liar who barely reacted and received the attack full force flinging him several feet.
He then turned his attention towards the woman who summoned a small flame salamander and sent powerful flames in his direction yet he only sliced it. Caelum evades a light attack before taking distance to reevaluate his enemy. It was then disappointment came looking around and found that they had escaped.
"Damn, I was expecting more thrill but whatever."
Caelum frowned since his battle tendency did not subside but decided to put it aside and head back to report about what happened. The aftermath of the battle came soon and he was greeted by Asta who quickly asked what happened while Lily closed in to hug him worried what had happened to him. He didn't tell the details and vaguely told the fight. Caelum had a long day and wanted to take a long bath.

The next few days, Caelum reported about the events that conspired and soon was given a day off. He hadn't taken quite some time off and decided to take a stroll in the town. Soon Caelum arrived where they were selling quite a large quantity of alcohol and ale. He noticed one that interested him which is perfect wine that suited his taste.
He went to grabbed it inspected the wine once he decided to buy is when a woman voice was heard asking the seller about the wine and turned to see tall young woman with wavy mid-back length pink hair that she keeps loose in a lob hairstyle with bangs swept to the left side, purple eyes, full lips and a voluptuous body. She was Vanessa Enoteca, member of the black bulls.
"Excuse me but could you let me buy that?"
"Hmm, what would I get in return?"
Caelum was acting rather petty considering he could just buy some in the system but this was a perfect opportunity to gain her affection since she was curious upon seeing his appearances. Vanessa was enticed by his charisma but more focus on the booze that he was holding.
"Why won't you give it to me then I might let you see a bit of my cleavage."
"You don't need to act that way. Here, take it."
He threw the bottle towards her that she managed to catch while walking away from her shocking Vanessa and felt somehow guilty.
"Wait!"
