Chapter 44: Saving world together

"We need a new car. Those guys are sick," Max muttered and rushed to another car nearby.

He opened the door and put the box of beverages in. Jessica placed Cattleya in and entered the car. She closed the door while Max went to the driver's seat.

"No wonder there was no undead. The guy must have killed them all. The head of the team thinks he's some sort of a god or president," Max rattled off before starting the car.

" What will you like to eat? Take one and eat," Jessica said to Cattleya. Since she won't be able to read her signs, it's best if she picks her choice herself. Jessica picked an egg and chew. She looked over at Max, "What will you like to eat?"

"I'm driving, so I can't do that."

"I can take that from you whenever you are ready to eat. We need strength if we want to survive the next undead we will see," she moved to the front seat and exchanged seats with Max.

She picked a shortbread and started to eat while driving.
