The five people whose faces were displayed on the screen next to Hubert Raymund's face on this teleconference showed more or less conviction about this project. Hubert had a moderately positive impression that something might come of it.

“'Thank you,” said Eric, the forty-year-old president of NEBuilding. “I don't know about my colleagues, but I agree with your proposal. I previously considered the project unprofitable due to the current economic situation, but you are right, sometimes it is necessary to take risks and make certain investments in order to achieve better results in the future. Anyone want to say anything else, comment, ask, or are we moving on to the vote?”

The vote at this point was basically a formality. If the vice-president wants to undertake a project and the president agrees, the other board members have no choice but to give the project the green light.

The project passed unanimously.
