Chapter 9: 09 - She, my maid
"Welcome, master...."
"...." Speechless as I am, I been stunned by the soft voice of a maid, a belle, in front of my house. Never been in my entire life in the past, a warn welcome greeting celebrating my return, as I always the person who greets my family when they back from work or school.
As I mentioned in last chapter, there Suzumiya Maria, a widow women, aged 25 in her peak moment of life, offically become my servant, an elegance maid that professionally trained by her agency. Suzumiya Maria is a beautiful women with long straight black hair, just like the image of Yamato Nadeshiko, a legendary girl in Japan. By the way, black hair actually rare in this world, though I got black hair as well. As expected the protagonist in this game. Dr. Emilia has silver blonde hair, while the librarian girl, Asakura Yoru has blue hair.
Anyway, Maria sure look lovely as she has a young wife vibe (that make her popular in this game) with solemn manner as well as an innocent characteristic. Her features attract me as she wearing full black and white Victorian maid attire, especially the cloth design followed the orthodox one. Not like the sexy and ridiculous design in anime, the attire very modest such as the length of skirt is a long yet bring the greatness of still the maid, not mention likely will impress the girl character who live with a dragon that wear fake maid attire. Although the dress quite modest, you can see that she is wearing the long white high socks, surely would encourage the wild imagination of the normal male teenagers!
Well, although she is a widowed women, she quite popular in the maid otaku community, thus she been relentlessly pursued by them. Her background in the story, she lost her husband after he died in accident, leading her becoming a single mother. Actually, the child is not hers, but the daughter of her late husband. Yet, no one ever knows her daughter eventhough you manage to bed her in the game. Furthermore, Maria also been categorized as the most impossible target girl to achieve the highest level of intimacy (100 affections), and speculation and rumors suggested that there are secret event that you have to achieve it. Maybe her stepdaughter is the key.

"Sorry, Miss Maria. I never been greeted like this before. I spend my life alone, as my father and mother very busy one...." Her soft and maid like voice brings me back to reality. "This dishes are plenty, though! Don't mind about servant thing, and join me for lunch!" I insist.

"No but. Its boring to eat alone, as my parents rarely, I mean never coming home at all! They only care their jobs, so just join me please. I couldn't eat all of this!" This is the most effective reasons - a sympathy for loner!
"It's not appropriate for me to do that, master..." Well, she didn't give in and still avoiding to join me for lunch.
"My house my rules, so just have lunch together. And remember to cook enough for us in the future. Oh, if you wanted to pack bento for your daughter, just use those ingredients...." I'm using another approach, mention her daughter. She flinched and shocked when listening to that. She quite poor, so having this food incentives really helped her. Maybe later on, after getting some money using the lottery, I will upgrade this house to show how filthy rich I am.
"Yeah, of course. This young master never lies.." Like the villain in the wuxia novel, I speak with arrogance.

"Never mind about that, let's eat together so we can proceed our daily routine!" I pull her to the chair before sit opposite to her.
"Thank you master..." She smile, while blushing. Well, not because of love, but feeling shy, maybe the thought for taking the advantage of her master kindness.
"Ah, where is the rice?" Well, she forget to serve that main carbohydrates!
After filling my stomach, I returned to my room, while checking the items that I purchase along the way. Maria already started to clean the table, and confirming the next menu for the dinner. I ask her to bring some snack later on in my room afterwards. I will begin my first training, well the academic one, so I need plenty of sweets and snacks for my rewards!
Walking to my room, I can see my unused room now become my personal gym station. All the equipment and tools were set up and only waited me to utilise the faculty for my training later on. After satisfied checking the gym room, I'm continuing my walk to my room. In my designed room, the books, clothes and everything that I purchase already been arranged, bring the smile to my face. Until I remembered about the condoms that I brought, the smile dissappear, replace with a faceplam! The player rate of my last character in that time is 35 with 2 star potential, but now, I have reached the 40 rated player with three star potential!
How the rate been made for the player? It's simple, the four main skill (technical) will added together and divide by four. While the potential depends on your overall mental abilities and hidden attributes. Although my potential only at three star, I have plenty of time to rise it in the future. Two stars me back then with three years of training versus three stars me yet to train anything. Simple math, you can guess right?
The more surprising factor in my status board is the Wonderkids title. Before I been transmigrated into this body, the main character in the game, the only the person that I know who have this title are two, one is former, and another is the future. You must know the former right? What, you didn't? What a pathetic reader in Vegeta tone. The answer of the former one is Mr Pielle Maladonut, the legendary football player, and the cheat source for me. He used to has this title in the past, before he turned to 23 years old. While the future Wonderkids is Cristal Naldo, a star player that will face the main character (me) in the national final in the third year of highschool, whom one of the players in the opposite team.
Why his name different from those peoples from Sakura nation? Right, he actually the foreign player (obviously) who been brought from his country to Sakura at early age for earning naturalization status to play for this nation. The example manners like some players in France team who actually not origin citizens, but gained the naturalization status and representing the country. Well, Pielle Maladonut is the example in this game, the man who represents the nation in highest achievement! When he still in young age, he migrates to this nation together with his family after finally Sakura government announced the open door policy to the world.
Sakura nation used to limit all the diplomatic relationships with other countries, and only participate in few trades but still sending the team for football World Cup. Later on, after the change of the Emperor, Sakura nation finally agreed to become more open thus attract lot of families to this country. Wolowitz, one of the big names, have made their root deeply in this country. Mr. Pielle, who scouted and brought by one of genius football scout, the late Rio Ferrio, after he entered the tray, established his landmark in this country. Rio opened his scout agency in this country, which is the first ever in the country (in the past, most players must have some backup or big shot relative to be selected as player), helping the country gaining its fame with the glory of the new football era in Sakura. The change even affected the Sakura Football League, which in the past only have one tier, but right now, its changing, and already have 3 divisions.
But the changes didn't happened that fast. The Rio decision to bring Mr. Pielle and make him becoming the player of national team have been debated and argued by the big families. Majority of the head families at that time still hanging with their conservative and old tradition mindsets - the Sakura only for the Sakurans. Thus, Mr. Pielle been trapped in football scandals by those old generations, although he managed to clean his name and ended the old traditional minded reigns and replaced with the liberalism scion. That is the marking of new era of Sakura football history.
Cristal Naldo, the future antagonist as well as the Wonderkids title possessor, will represents the best high school for producing the star football player, Takanashi Football Academy, the defending champion of Nation Interschool Tournament for 25 years straights, and its seem that the winning will go on with the existence of Cristal. Mr. Pielle, an alumni, also has won the title with that school, after transferring to this country. To create another legendary player, Cristal Naldo will be polished by the school. For your information, he is rate at 60 with 4 stars potential when I encounter him as the character in the game, so he'll be the last boss to be defeated.
Now, I, myself own that title!
