Chapter 23: CHP23 Japan
After visiting Elijah in Africa, we ended up staying there for a few weeks before leaving again, this time with Elijah accompanying us as well.
Elijah said his goodbyes with Aya, who surprisingly to Klaus had not broken up yet, maybe they would end up together for a long time now that nothing was in their way. Unlike the OG universe where Mikael was running ramped, giving no space for any of the Mikaelsons to grow complacent.
Elijah was a much better teacher than myself. Unlike the OG Klaus, I wasn't one to get jealous at one of my own siblings growing close to my own adopted son, so I didn't mind letting Elijah teach Malivore some things I was unable or that he was better than me at.
Just it being me and Elijah, with no one else like our women or our siblings was a nice change of pace, give us time as brothers again, like our shared childhood, in which it was usually the two of us sticking together.
Neither myself or Elijah was to bothered on where we travelled, having explored most of the world before. So that left Malivore to decide, which not to surprisingly wanted to travel where the biggest and best monsters lived, so that he could challenge them and then eat their defeated corpses.
Now that it was the late 13th century, human war was still prevalent in most places, especially in Europe recently. We stayed out of most of the fights that were happening, preferring to mainly head in east in our travels.
We was in Japan at the minute. I had always wanted to meet some samurai and Elijah also was interested in a lot of the culture so we stayed in Japan for years to come.
With not a lot to do with our unlimited time, me and Elijah first of all found some land to which we could lay claim to.
Secondly Elijah mainly, integrated himself into the community in which we now found ourselves in.
Myself on the other hand, I was not one to mingle with humans usually, preferring to mainly spend my time with my family or sometimes creatures that had interested me.
I did still show my face at important gathering but Elijah was usually left on his own in that department.
It was kind of funny and a bit cute seeing Malivore act as a human, so he could blend in as well. His human form was the body of an adult, looking remarkably like myself with some slight changes.
My eye color was a mixture between green and blue, while his were a very electric blue. My hair was a dark blond color and was fairly long, Malivore's hair was a platinum blond color and was neatly cut.
Malivore was also like myself not one to be in the public eye. He liked to spend much of his now that he grown, either reading books and scrolls that we collected, or experimenting with his powers.
When we settled in this town, we knew we would have a big decision to make. We could either take it over and control it like the Mikaelson's would do with New Orleans or we could do as we have done for a lot of our time since being turned and settle for a little while before leaving again to find somewhere else to stay.
We first thought we would do the second option. We had no reason to think long term at the start, this trip was a break for myself and Elijah and the trip was also a way to teach Malivore, without any interference from Aurora.
But after staying for a good 6 years now, we had come to enjoy staying here and like the place we found.
If we wanted to stay here for as long as we wished though, something would have to be done about our inability to age, people were starting to notice.
Thankfully 6 years isn't enough for people to truly notice, so something could be done to fix the problem.
Compulsion wouldn't be able to cover a whole community, so that was out of the picture.
Getting a witch to wipe the minds was to extreme as well, so that was ruled out as well.
The best option was to just leave for a couple decades and return with a new look.
Unless we were willing to turn this place into a supernatural HQ, there was no point in trying to control this place like the Mikaelson's would with New Orleans.
New Orleans was where the Mikaelson's decided they wanted to settle down for the remainder of their lives, not some where they had a good time.
We wouldn't leave just yet, deciding to stretch out look a little further. Me and Elijah had bought, or if they were not fazed by money, compelled the best samurais in Japan to be our teaches for our time there.
With Japan also being the home of most martial arts, we compelled the best practitioners of each to each them to us as well. Most of the best martial arts practitioners were samurais also, so not as many as you'd think.
Finding a samurai vampire was a surprise but also quite hilarious at the same time. I say samurai but I mean Ronin's. With no masters for them to pledge to most would end up swearing allegiance to Elijah.
After these former samurai's were turned by vampires that had made their way to Japan, they had no real clue as to what the Supernatural world out of Japan looked like so they had to be taught about this world but they would end up making capable soldiers for Elijah.
Elijah wasn't one to mistreat and individual if he didn't think you deserved it, so they should be a powerful force for him to command for a long time.
I didn't make an effort for them because I was sick of my hybrids already. Maybe I would send the hybrids to be disciplined, on the art of not speaking unless spoken to, they sure need it.
Malivore the ever curious creature was hunting for creatures to eat or finding his way into some precious knowledge, he had heard so much about.
The break was a well needed one at that. Now we were to leave after 10 years after deciding enough was enough, on our next adventure maybe coming across another Mikaelson on the way.
