Chapter 8: Chapter 8 - Tea Party

In the afternoon, I prepared myself to attend lady Evelyn's tea party. I was not enthusiastic about it. However, making it obvious was also not a wise alternative.

When I arrived at the royal palace of the Wentworth family, I saw Cassius waiting outside with the escorting guards to greet me.

"It is an honor to have the lady within us. Allow me to lead the way, My Lady," Cassius bowed elegantly, placing his right hand over his chest. The man certainly was skilled in his job.

I beckoned, allowing him. Esty, a daughter of the baron family, had come along with me to accompany me to the tea party. The scar was visible on her wrist. She served the Wentworth family when Evelyn was in the position to be the luna.
