"Mom, do you think she will like all these?, Isn't it a little bit too much?Ariel doesn't look like girls that fancy all these,'' Blair lifted the shopping bags,she carried up to her mom's face, who stared at the bags and nodded affirmatively. 

The stuff they bought for Ariel is too luxurious.

"Of course, she would like it, don't you young people like all these flashy things? If you like it, then Ariel will surely like it too. She's just eighteen" Flora said to Bliar who shrugged in agreement, and continued climbing the front steps leading inside the house.

After the conversation with her mom early in the morning, they both decided to go shopping to get some stuff for Ariel. She needed new clothes and many other things, which they went shopping to get for her. Blair's hands had begun to hurt from the heavy loads she carried and complained about it to Flora.
