 Waylen's POV 

I looked at Emily.

"Anyone who wants to hurt you would have to go through me and God help them" I moved closer to her and touched her cheek.

(it is probably not allowed)

"Because our story, baby girl is written in the stars and It's just beginning and it's a damn good story"

I wasn't expecting the tears from Emily or the fact that she hugged me afterwards.

After a few seconds, she pulled away and tried to compose herself.

"Sorry, I am a mess" she murmured.

"It's okay. Take as much time as you need" I told her.

And when she spoke…said her vow it was for my ear only.
