Chapter 94: Death Match (2)

"Come on, is that... all you've got?" Alex said as he smiled through heavy breathes and made eye contact with Zayne. "With attacks like that you'll.... run out of energy before I die..."

The mere sight of Alex was already enough to anger Zayne but hearing those words filled him with fury. He started the process of gathering lighting in his hands, just as he had done before, but as the electricity was halfway down his arm Alex turned into a blur. 

He adopted the half moon shaped running line he had intended to use earlier, trying to avoid approaching Zayne straight on so he would be harder to hit. The lightning had finally gathered in Zayne's hands and he released two bolts of lightning once again.

Trying to hit Alex while he was moving at such a speed was difficult, even for an attack as fast as the lightning. If Zayne was capable of perfectly placing the attack then there would be nothing Alex could do to avoid it but that wasn't the case.
