Chapter 13: CHAPTER 11 : Who is She ?
27th April , 2013 ; I was on the way back home after school was over .
Dad ," Rahul there's a good news for you . You will get something what you wanted badly ."
I got into a deep thought and started guessing . There were a lot things which I wanted but it could be . I was totally confused about it .
Me , " What ? Is it a PC or a remote control car ?"
Dad , " No , it's something different . Don't always go for materialistic wants ."
I knew Dad wouldn't give me a new PC so easily as he thought it would had ruined me . Aaah Old people's thinking !
Me , " So what is it Dad ? "
Dad , " You will come to know after we reach home ."
After a while we reached home . I got down the bike and rushed inside . I opened my shoes and socks the shouted , " Mom , food . I am really damn hungry today ."
Usually I used to get the reply , " First take rest , then go and bath ." But today I couldn't hear the reply . My Mom wasn't at home . . .
I searched for her everywhere in the house but I couldn't find her . I was too afraid and then asked Dad , " Where is Mom ? Dad please say ."
Dad replied , " Your Mom left us and went to village . She wouldn't return . We have to live alone Rahul . . . "
I started to cry as I was too close to Mom . I didn't want that to happen . I began to curse myself for all the wrong I did . I cried hell . . .
Dad couldn't control my cry anymore . He was annoyed and said , " I am just joking , she didn't left us . She's in hospital !"
I felt relaxed and then asked , " why is she in the hospital ? "
The next thing my Dad said was shocking and gave me a mixed feeling of happiness and confusion .
Dad , " Rahul , you have a sibling now . You have a sister and from now on you are an elder brother . "
I jumped in happiness as I always wanted a sibling . I saw my neighbours playing and spending good time with their siblings . I was jealous and always wanted a sibling of mine too . That was the happiest moment of my life till then .
After hearing the news my hunger suddenly vanished and I requested Dad to take to the hospital immediately .
I reached the hospital , there I saw my Mom on the bed and few of my relatives surrounding her and smiling . Then I saw a baby beside Mom . She was as small as a mice and she was my little sister . . .
