Chapter 76: Stupid Tentacles

Vain removed the padding that protected his joints and threw the helmet into a corner. Hendrickson on the other hand felt like he could see the future and ordered a few medics to be on-site in case Vain needed desperate care.

"Good choice." Vain smiled at Hendrickson, "I just promised these idiots broken bones."

Hendrickson burst out laughing, "Yeah yeah, I can't wait to see how good you can wave a sword to give you such confidence!"

Without much more talking Vain stood at the ready while the three others were still not totally prepared, obviously taking this fight as more of a joke. Hendrickson, seeing that it was about to start, started yelling at the men to get ready for a fight or prepare to be beaten by him instead and still be carried out by the medical staff. Quickly both parties were taking the fight seriously.
