Chapter 50: Battle with Help

Vain was able to get all the Firesalt he was able to see without being disturbed by anything.

Getting ready to move on, Vain took a long break and a good sleep since nothing had come back.

Six hours later Vain was awoken by the sounds of heavy footsteps. Without a word, Vain stood up and got ready to fight after shaking off his sleepiness from before.

Standing at the ready, Vain saw as several humans ran inside his room guns at the ready. The humans on the other hand noticed him and got ready to shoot him and ask questions later.

"Just Shoot! It's probably a Skin Stealer!"

Just as quickly, Vain lowered his sword and shouted back, "Wait! I am a human! UGhhh- Are You a potato or a Hat?"

The man who shouted to shoot heard the word potato in such a strange situation and knew he was probably not an entity like he had originally thought. So without missing a beat he yelled, "Great! Since we are all humans, which way is safe?!"
