Chapter 47: Trust

Skylar and Diana left the amusement park immediately. Diana was still shivering a bit from the fright she received on seeing a dead body. It was her first time seeing one and her body won't just stood shaking.

"Where do you want to go to now?" Skylar asked as he looked anywhere but her eyes. Diana noticed this but she couldn't ask what was wrong. After the incident they just encountered, the air around them was tensed. 

"Anywhere. Let's go get some fresh air." Diana said as she tried to calm down. Skylar didn't say anything and ignited the car engine. He sped on the road and Diana whined the car class down. The air slapping her face relieved her anxiety a lot. 

They car sped away from civilization and the only thing around them were trees. Little or no living thing was in sight.

"Where are we?" Diana asked when Skylar stopped in front of a forest.
